Rarely have we seen someone rise through the ranks as quickly as Boris Daenen, a.k.a Netsky. Leading a wave of new skool D+B talent from Europe with his blend of uplifting, melancholic melodies and heavy dancefloor bass + beats, Netsky’s popularity is astounding. Netsky signed exclusively to Hospital in late 2009; his first release was the iconic “Memory Lane” (as featured on “Sick Music 2″ in 2010) and this was swiftly followed up by his chart topping debut album – “Netsky”– in May of the same year. Following virtually unanimous praise and hype from all corners of the globe, it plunged Netsky firmly into the limelight, where he has remained ever since, delivering a potent mix of dancefloor anthems, vocal led classics and that clean cut new jungle sound which has become his trademark.

On Friday 6th April 2012, Netsky unveiled the incredibly impressive Netsky LIVE! at Hospitality Brixton – a full live show with a band which he is now touring the world with. Thinking of starting out, what software would you recommend? It’s between Logic and Ableton for me i think but At this point much prefer Logic! Whats best for beginners? Thanks for any advice

I tried Krk and Tenoi, but i just cant find the right ones for DnB in combination with ableton+logic.
It allways boosts the low frequencies.

I really like your music. However, please let your “moderator” at home for future gigs, as he really ruined your show in Basel. How can one enjoy DnB when this *peep* talks the hole time? I dont mind if he announces you at the beginning and “motivates” people from time to time,…. but if he thinks anybody needs his comments and cheers every 10 seconds he must come from a different planet, as absolutely nobody does.
Do everybody a big favour and come alone to your next gig,… its you and your music people want to see/hear/enjoy, not some annoing wannabe fatman scoop (I personally would have used different words, but I dont want to curse here).

Netsky, you serve as an inspiration to me as a producer. I try to make music myself, and I can remember hardly being able to fathom good music production on my part after hearing your music, especially Memory Lane. It’s literally my favorite song, and has been for about 2 years now.
On another note, I’ve always dreamed of doing what you’re doing now, and I only hope that my music gets better and better with time. I have been working diligently to make a good set of music for people to listen to, and I’ll be releasing a free online album soon. I really would be honored if you could find 5 minutes to listen to one song if you were to stumble upon it. Thank you for indirectly pushing me to follow my dream, Netsky. For that, I can never repay you.
