    Drum’n'Bass star netsky stops by the Exil in Zürich

    Zürich. The ongoing up-to-dateness of Drum’n'Bass is going be proven tomorrow at the Exil by the Belgian DJ and producer Netsky.

    The 22 year-old Boris Daenen a.k.a. Netsky is the new star of the Drum’n'Bass heaven. The reason for this is his refreshing and modern interpretation of the genre with which the young Belgian has been drawing the attention since his appearance.
    More specifically, Netsky is considered to be representative for the Liquid Funk whereat his tunes are frequently affected by melancholic melodies and dramatic finesses, giving the genre an emotional touch. Only a few months after his first release, he was already nominated as “Best Upcoming Producer” at the Drum & Bass Arena Awards. Also his remixes for artists like Miike Snow, Swedish House Mafia and Pendulum speak for themselves.
    Of course, these facts did not escape the attention of famous labels like Liq-Weed Ganja or Hospital Records. The last one took the young whippersnapper under their wing in 2010.
    At present, he is on the road with his new album “Netsky” which can be listened to at the Exil, where he will be assisted by the DJs S-Kay and DY over DX.
